Research Abstract |
Process)This joint study has at first endeavored to collect original materials concerning the theme, such as "SHASIN=SHHO", YASUKUNIEMAKI" and so on. Each member has investigated on particular issues with these materials. The research group has organized colloquiums 7 times in the term, where discussions on the interim research reports were hold. The joint research has analyzed the representations in war times from points of view of gender post-colonialism, history of film, history of modern design etc., which has been shared by each members. Results)The investigation as a whole has brought an important cognition that the representations in war times, especially in the 2^<nd> world war, are deep connected with national identities and imperial control on the one side and with the transformations of art and the aesthetic system in the 20^<th>.
