| Research Abstract |
As Japanese companies internationalize their business activities, they have been getting to develop cross cultural business management styles, responding to intra-firm and inter-firm cross border business activities. In particular, major Japanese electronics companies have internationalized their research and development activities since the latter half of 1990's. Their strategic challenges are now how to create new strategic knowledge creating cross cultural synergy effects.
