Research Abstract |
We investigated a teacher training curriculum and cooperation with school at university of Brighton in UK. The educational system which supported training of a practical ability of students was prepared. Such as the curriculum which combined practical training with a lecture, organizations (Partnership Office, Schools Liaison) which does mainly cooperation work with the education organization, the curriculum center which accumulate, and offer the teaching materials and textbooks. Also some evaluation system functioned. Such as clarification of achievement goal by National curriculum, external evaluation by OFSTED and performance evaluation of practice training by class observation of plural times based on an evaluation standard. rs, Board of Education counselors, university teacher organized study group for using IT in the class and work a practice research about practical use of digital contents in subject instruction. We published the book of "Let's Use IT in the Class" and took the research subsidy and cooperated and pushed forward the practice research. It led to the enhancement of ability for education practice and the practice research that could support digitization of education. In teacher training stage, we improved the subjects "an introduction to computer" and "practical use of computer in learning instruction". Also we tried to improve the practical ability of students by volunteer activity in the school. In this subject we did practice classes and invited teacher as an advisor. Finally they showed the class that students planned at the attached primary school. We put self-evaluating based on evaluation criterion, mutual evaluation, evaluation by a teacher in this class. We made clear magnitude of efficiency evaluation based on a curriculum and the validation criterion that incorporated a practical class subject by cooperation with school and Board of Education. Less
