| Research Abstract |
平成15年度の研究目的1(生産経済学との境界領域)に関しては次の研究成果が得られた。
[1]Cost efficiency and returns to scale in Life Insurance Corporation in India using DEA (Tone and Sahoo)
この論文はSocio Economic Planning Sciencesに採択された。新コスト効率性をもとにインドの生命保険会社の効率性を計測し、規模の収益性を判定した。
[2]Indivisibilities and economies of scope in DEA (Sahoo and Tone).
工程の不可分性と範囲の経済性について考察するとともに、新コスト効率性を用いて多段階生産工程の範囲の経済性を計測するモデルを作成した。この研究のためにBiresh Sahooをインドから招聘した。研究成果は日本オペレーションズリサーチ学会2004年春季研究発表会(早稲田大学3月17日)において発表した。
[3]Dealing with undesirable outputs in DEA : A slacks-based measure (SBM) approach.(Tone)
European Journal of Operational Researchに投稿中。環境問題への意識の高まりとともに、公害物資や有害排出物を社会悪とする見方が広まっている。それらを歓迎すべからざる産出として企業体の活動をとらえ、その効率性をDEAの枠内で評価するための新しい指標を提案した。
研究目的2(ゲーム理論との境界領域)に関しては次の成果が得られた。
[1]Egoist's dilemma : A DEA game. (Nakabayashi and Tone).
Omegaに投稿中。多基準型の評価項目のもとでプレイヤーの合意形成を構築するための協力ゲーム理論を作成した。DEAの可変ウエイトをもとに、利己的なプレイヤーが陥るジレンマを指摘し、その解決策としてのShapley値が持つ特性について論じた。

京都大学数理解析研究所、数理解析研究所講究録1349,pp204-220.DEAゲームの特徴的な数学的性質の中からShapley値と凸性に関するものを取り上げて論じた。
