Research Abstract |
We have fallen into three groups for the study 2002-2005. The first group have studied of theoretical foundations for Political Economy. As a result, we published a new textbook of Political Economy "SHAKAI KEIZAIGAKU NYUMON" 2003 by Otsuki Shoten in Tokyo. After that this group have investigated new text books which have been published in USA for example Samuel Bowles, Richard Edwards and Frank Roosevelt, Understanding Capitalism, the third edition, 2005,Neva Goodwin, Julie Nelson, Frank Ackerman, Thomas Weisskopf Microeconomics in Context,2005. The second group have studied of modern capitalism and its systematic theories. We investigated several types in Marxian economics in Japan on this theme. And we invited several researchers to our seminars, Robert Dumenil, Toshio Yamazaki and Hiroyuki Kikuchi. The third group have studied of the international and global economy. The special themes in the group were the function of the floating exchange rate system, the transitional economies, the new regionalism in Asian countries and so-on.
