Research Abstract |
This study conducted investigation of the reality about "integrated study" of high schools from a point of view of "general learning aiming at synthesis of intellect". Last year we investigated the enforcement situation for the purpose of grasping situation of actions about period for integrated study enforced in 2003 entirely in a high school for a the national/ public/ private high school throughout the country. We divided it into 1) normal department, a general subject, 2) specialized study department and investigated a questionnaire about a name of time of integrated study, learning contents, a form of learning activity, a method of problem setting, making of a whole plan / a guidance plan / a unit development design, the training, a point of view of evaluation, significance / an effect / a problem on carrying it out. These findings are shown in homepage "integrated study (http://www nier.go.jp/saito/kuro/sougou.html). In addition, because we had 600,000 access in this homepage by the end of February of this year, this homepage is utilized in each elementary, junior/senior high schools of the whole country. So it is guessed to be used to put activity in integrated study in practice. This year as the final year the reality and a problem of curriculum management of integrated study was clarified to build a new view of scholastic capability. Investigation by freely descriptive questionnaire was analyzed as well as a unit development design. As a result, it became clear to that various devices devote themselves to activity of period for integrated study to fuse zest for living as human being with a systematic knowledge skill in each school.
