Research Abstract |
The purpose of this research is to develop a new educational model by which the technique of PBL (Problem Based Learning) is applied to the life custom improvement of the local populace. PBL is a new education method of study the student's independently studying based on the scenario based on a certain case and helping each other among students. New educational model was developed while holding the eating habits improvement classroom, which had centered on the low salt in Aomori Prefecture N town in 2003 and 2004 and Aomori Prefecture T town in 2005. The classroom participation resident studied by receiving the support by the tutor, and using the scenario, which was a main feature of the developed TYA method. The participant was able to acquire the knowledge and the skill for the life custom improvement, which centered on the low salt. n and device point, (2)study process such as looking back of own eating habits in the first half in the study, and (1)deriving and restructuring of executable surely long-term target. (2)understanding of importance of healthy action stuck to the entire life custom in the latter half. The participation resident's doing a free discussion by which a life experience each other was made a study resource mutually led to the action transformation and practice concerning the low salt. When the salt after N town classroom ended was pursued, the classroom participation group was divided by two crowds of the crowd (return group) the rebound had been seen and the crowd (maintenance group) of having maintained the salt level after the classroom ended. The healthy custom levels of smoking, the drinking, and the movement, etc. of the maintenance group were higher than the level of the return group and the inspection group.
