Outline of Annual Research Achievements

1)2014年8月広島豪雨の領域雲解像モデルによる感度実験から、西日本域にかかったAtmospheric River(AR)と南南東から接近した上層切離低気圧(COL)との相乗効果の役割を確認(Hirota et al. 2016)。2)14年間のデータから暖候期日本域のARとCOLの相乗効果が広島豪雨と同様に雨を強める仕組を統計的に確認(Tsuji and Takayabu, 2019)。3)衛星搭載降水レーダ(SBPR)データから亜熱帯ジェット(STJ)に沿った梅雨前線域の降雨を3タイプに分類、STJ強度と大気下層安定度へのタイプ依存性を定量化(Yokoyama et al. 2017)。4) 3)とCMIP大規模場から、夏季日本周辺の降水特性将来変化を推定(Yokoyama et al. 改訂中)。5) SBPRデータから、ARの降雨増幅が主に層状性降水域で起こることを指摘(Shige, 2019)。6) CMIPデータから梅雨期STJの将来的な南下傾向を指摘(Horinouchi et al. 2019)。7)気候モデル実験から降水分布の適切な再現にモデル成層圏の必要性を指摘(Kawatani et al. 2019)。8) 13年間のSBPRデータから盛夏期日本周辺の「極端対流」と「極端降水」を抽出、前者は大気不安定、後者は比較的安定でAR状高湿場に多いことを統計的に示す(Hamada and Takayabu, 2018)。9) 2018年7月豪雨で、朝鮮半島域に停滞した上空トラフ前面でARが強まり広域豪雨をもたらした仕組を解明(Yokoyama et al., 投稿中)。10)2017年九州北部豪雨は「極端対流」、2018年7月豪雨はAR状「極端降水」場だったことを指摘(Tsuji et al., 気象学会)。11) 2014年関東・東北豪雨観測から、水蒸気起源の特定への水の安定同位体比観測の有効性を示す(野本・芳村2017)。
