Outline of Annual Research Achievements

単色高速オーロライメージャ（ASI）関係では、EM-CCDカメラ、収録用PC、RAID、など一式を購入し、システム組立、動作確認、GPSによる撮像制御システムの開発、などを行った。
先端的VLF波動観測装置（VLF）関係では、システム設計を行い、アンテナ、受信装置、収録系、を2式分購入・製作した。また、2015年9月に、フッサフェル観測点（アイスランド）に出張し、電磁環境調査、設置候補場所選定、などを行った。
アイスランドにおける観測については、2015年9月9日～19日の間、5名が、フッサフェル観測点とチョルネス観測点に出張し、機器の保守作業や設置作業等を行った。フッサフェルにおいては、SPM（8ch掃天フォトメータ）のデータ回収とスケジュール組み込み・自動運用開始、ATV（ナイトビュア型全天ＴＶカメラ）の状態確認、自動運用開始、Watec（簡易型全天ＴＶカメラ）のHDD交換、自動運用開始、オーロラ電波観測の状態確認と保守作業、イメージングリオメータのデータ回収と保守作業、超高層モニタリングデータ収録用ノートPCシステム設置などを行った。チョルネス観測点においては、ATV（ナイトビュア型全天ＴＶカメラ）状態確認と保守作業、Watec（簡易型全天ＴＶカメラ）のデータ回収と収録系再立ち上げ、共役点オーロライメージャ（CAI）の再設置と自動運用開始、フラックスゲート磁力計出力不具合調査、GPS-NTPサーバー設置、ネットワーク関係整備などを行った。また、アイスランド大学の対応者との間で打合せと情報交換を行った。2014年9月～2015年4月、2015年9月～2016年4月の間のオーロラ光学観測データを取得出来た。

Reason

当初の計画通り、単色高速オーロライメージャ（ASI）一式の開発と、先端的VLF波動観測装置（VLF）一式の開発を進めた。また、アイスランドにおける調査や観測も計画通り実施出来た。

Strategy for Future Research Activity

当初の計画通り、H28年度には、前年度国内で製作された「単色高速オーロライメージャ（ASI）」一式と「先端的VLF波動観測装置（VLF）」一式の国内性能試験を行い、8月～9月の時期に、ASIはアイスランドのチョルネス観測点に、VLFはフッサフェル観測点に、それぞれ設置する。設置作業と他の観測装置の保守・運用のため、両観測点に合計6名を派遣する。
