Outline of Final Research Achievements |
There are great public concerns about the health effect by electromagnetic fields emitted from electrical equipment and communication equipment. Despite numerous studies so far, considering frequency bands, the number of prior studies on the biological and health effects of intermediate frequency (300 Hz to 10 MHz) is extremely limited. World Health Organization (WHO) says that it is necessary to accumulate biological evidences. In this study, we conducted experiments mainly for animal experiments to gather scientific evidence concerning the safety of electromagnetic fields in the intermediate frequency band, and demonstrated that no effects were observed under the experimental condition.
