Outline of Final Research Achievements

Focusing on the photographs taken by the cultural investigation conducted in the late Qing Dynasty from among the photos kept by the Tokyo National Museum, by comparing the current situation with the survey of literature materials and field survey, the process of photographs Reveal background selected subject. The results were reflected in "Ancient photograph WEB database in the Tokyo National Museum", and furthermore the pictures were exhibited at the museum and opened to the public.
