Outline of Final Research Achievements |
Spherical Fe-oxide concretions in both in Utah and Mongolia have been investigated to understand the geochemical migration features relevant to the heavy metal adsorption. The results are not only Uranium but other REE elements are concentrated in the layer of Fe rich crust. This feature might be used for future heavy metal absorption and fixation technology.
