| Outline of Annual Research Achievements |
今年度は、データ解析を終え、成果の公開・発信に向けての取り組みを中心に行った。データ解析は計画通り終了した。現生のヒトにおいて、歩行機能の要である大腿骨の出生から老年期に至る詳細な形態変化を明らかにすることができ、対応するネアンデルタールの成長変化も明らかになった。現生のヒトでは、死亡年齢の明らかな個体データを用いることにより、成熟後も老年期にかけ大きな形態変化を示すこと、この変化は集団間の運動量の差は反映しないことが明らかになった。さらに、ネアンデルタールも同様の変化を示すことが明らかになった。
学会発表は、国内学会および国際学会で発表を行った。学術誌への投稿へ向けて、執筆は最終段階を迎えており、共同研究者との意見交換による調整を加えている段階である。
