Outline of Final Research Achievements

Electromagnetic fields from the wireless technology devices, when they are employed in our living environment, raises concern that they may cause other electronic devices to malfunction due to electromagnetic interference (EMI). The EMI faced by active implantable medical devices (AIMDs) has become a very controversial issue in recent years.
Development of numerical estimation method on AIMDs EMI, development of novel AIMDs EMI simulator equipment that can treat frequency filter characteristics due to internal circuit, and feasibility study for these newly developed EMI estimation technology were carried out in this study.
These expertise can be expected to contribute newly mitigation technique for AIMDs EMI developed in the future.
