| Outline of Annual Research Achievements |
前年度から継続して、引き続き子宮体部腫瘤を有する臨床症例について3 テスラMRI 装置を用いてMRI（拡散強調像による機能画像および磁化率強調像による出血イメージングを含む）およびMRS検査を施行した。これまでに得られた知見と矛盾なく、子宮肉腫の症例では従来の形態画像と比較して磁化率強調像が高感度に腫瘍内出血を検出可能であり、筋層病変では良性の筋腫との鑑別に、内膜病変では内膜癌との鑑別に有用性が示唆された。特に、出血性梗塞の像を呈する特殊なタイプの変性筋腫である赤色変性については、磁化率強調像が高感度に辺縁部の静脈血栓を低信号帯として描出可能であり、早期診断への有用性が示唆された。MRS検査ではlipidとcholineのピークの相補的評価による壊死イメージングが子宮肉腫の診断に有用と考えられた。
これらの知見について、国際磁気共鳴医学会大会（2017年4月, ハワイ）にて「Red degeneration of uterine leiomyoma: Clinical utility of susceptibility-weighted MR imaging」、北米放射線学会（2017年11月、シカゴ）にて「Many faces of uterine leiomyomas: Usual, unusual imaging manifestations, pitfalls, and problem-solving MR techniques」、欧州放射線学会（2018年3月、ウィーン）にて「Diagnostic strategy for uterine sarcomas: Imaging manifestations, pitfalls, and problem-solving MR techniques」の発表を行った。また、国際磁気共鳴医学会大会（2018年6月, パリ）にて「Clinical utility of susceptibility-weighted MR sequence (SWAN) for the evaluation of uterine sarcomas」の発表予定である。
