Outline of Final Research Achievements

In this research, I investigated the definition of the Kike and the Kike characters from the usage examples on the Tendai manuscript of the Middle Ages and Edo period.I also surveyed and collected manuscript of the medieval period, centered on Tendai sect, and analyzed the Chinese character in running.Kike characters is usually written in Chinese character in running.I confirmed when that characters is used to write a Buddhism term, the extent of cursive is increased.Furthermore, I clarified the facts that Kike characters is based on the cursive script and it is not only a special character of Tendai sect but it is used in across the all sects.Also,for the convenience of future research, I have prepared a draft of the handbook.
