Outline of Final Research Achievements |
In Florence and Rome during the urban expansion period of modern Italy, villa buildings were constructed in the residential area due to the urban remodeling and urban expansion plan at the time of the transition of the capital. This was done based on such conventional residential forms as Palazzo and Villas. For this study, a field survey was conducted and the historical materials and documents related to this construction were collected and analyzed. As a result, it became possible to identify the type and style of each individual residence, the district formation as a group of residences, and the conversion and transformation of existing land and buildings.
