Outline of Final Research Achievements |
Liver ischemia-reperfusion (I/R) injury is one of critical problems to overcome in hepatectomy. Liver B cells among immune cells were focused on for the first time involved in I/R injury. Intrahepatic B cells might increase throughout CXCL13 / CXCR5 axis at relatively early time (2 hours) after reperfusion, and B cells can become therapeutic target in liver I/R injury.
