Outline of Final Research Achievements

We planned the research, based on the results for confidence which we revealed several years ago. After the research was accepted, I moved to the new institute, where I had to devote plenty of time to set up education and experiment. In the meantime, I spent no time to study overseas and abandoned this project.

メタ認知（metacognition）は、認知の認知(cognition about cognition)といわれ、内省による自己像の把握に関わり、従来、人文社会学や認知心理学の重要テーマとして、注目されてきたが、その生物学的基盤を探る実証研究は、近年、始まったばかりである。本研究のテーマは、古くて新しい問題に対して、科学的実体を与えうるものである。
