Research Abstract |
In 2004, "The 5th East Asian Simposium for Philosophy of Law" was held in Sapporo. Over a hundred scholars participated from Continent China, Korea, and Taiwan as well as from inside of Japan. In this conference, it was decided that in 2006 The 6th East Asian Simposium will be held in Taipei(Taiwan University), and at the same time the East Asian Association for Philosophy of Law will be founded. As the representative of an founder committee, Imai who was a representative of this project was picked. In 2005, the 6th East Asian Simposium for Philosophy of Law was held in Taipei (Taiwan University). There was a participant more than 150 including China, Korea, Taiwan others. And Imai was picked to the chief director. Thus the collaboration system for research for East Asian philosophy of law that we aimed for is completed, and big possibility will be guaranteed. In 2006, we invited two professoers (Souli Zhuu/ Chang Qi) from Peking University and held a simposium (("Das lebendige Recht" in China and the law formation through "the judicial process")) in Nagoya University and Hokkaido University in September. In addition, I invited Prof. Nii Zhengmao (Shanghai University) and held "a neighborhood protest movement in Shanghai and the civic culture in law.
