| Research Abstract |
本年度の前半は、エモリー大学に出張し、Rodl教授らのグループとの共同研究により、hypergraph regularity methodを用いた研究を行なった。具体的にはV. Rodl, M. Schacht, E. Tenganとの共同研究で、Furstenberg-KatznelsonがErgodic theoryを用いて証明したいくつかの密度型定理を組合せ論的手法で証明した。またV. Rodl, M. Schacht, M. Siggerとの共同研究でuniform hypergraphのinteger packingをfractional packingで近似する方法について研究した。これらの研究の基礎になっているのは、Szemerediのregularity lemmaのhypergraph版であり、これはV. Rodl, M. Schacht, B. Nagle, J. Skokan, W. T. Gowersらによって得られたものである。われわれの研究はこのregularity lemmaを用いる手法が応用上大変有用であることの一端を示すものである。
本年度の後半は、多重交差族の研究を中心に行なった。これはFrankl教授と行なってきた一連の共同研究の延長である。特にrandom walkを用いて径路の数え上げを行なう手法について研究した。その応用として3重交差族のErdos-Ko-Rado型定理、3重交差族のSperner型定理についてよい評価が得られることがわかった。さらにr-wise intersectingかつ r-wise unionなuniform familyの最大サイズに関する評価についてもよい評価が得られるようなので、これについては来年度以降も引き続き研究を続ける。
