Research Abstract |
Recently, the spherical photodiode with broad incidence angle and uniform sensitivity can have been obtained. In this research project, this device is utilized as a detector of 3-d position and posture measurement system using the laser beam plane scanners. Research results are as follows. 1)For the attitude measurement, multi points simultaneous measurement detector (MHD : Multi Heads Detector) was developed. In each measuring point, the spherical photodiode was placed. 2)The detection circuit has high-speed preamplifier for the spherical photodiode and the super-heterodyne detection circuit for the detection of the laser modulation frequency. 3)Multi point simultaneous precision angle measurement circuit board was developed for the simultaneous measurement. The circuit has 12 Precision Angle Measurement Units (PAMU). 4)The angle measurement resolution is 0.03 sec of arc, when the rotational frequency of the laser plane scanner is 2rps. As a result of the experiment, the standard deviation of angle measured value is 4 sec of arc. This is correspondent to 0.04mm at a distance of 2.2m from the scanner. 5)The one-dimensional measuring accuracy (axial x) is +/- 0.02mm with a standard deviation of 0.04mm within 400mm range at a distance of 2m from the scanner. The maximum value of postural change with axial x is 0.06mm.
