| Outline of Annual Research Achievements |
アブラハム的宗教における多様な存在への信仰である「崇敬」の諸相を学際的に明らかにする共同研究の手始めとして、地中海周辺域を対象地域にした調査・研究を3カ年にわたり実施し、論点の整理を図り、研究会を開催し、共同および個別の調査を実施した。研究成果は国際会議でパネルを組織して発表し、個別の論文の他、概説書、専門書の刊行準備を進めた。研究の最終年度である平成30年度には以下の活動を行った。
（1）恒常的に共同研究に参加する研究協力者をふやした。（2）国際会議準備のための会合を5月12日と6月2日に開催し、3月17日には上智大学で今後の研究展開の打ち合わせを兼ねて研究会を開催した。（3）3月2日にフランス国立東洋言語文化研究所（INALCO）を会場として、フランス国立科学研究センター社会・宗教・ライシテ・グループ（CNRS-GSRL）との共催で国際ワークショップを開催し、7名が発表を行った。（4）7月16～22日にセヴィーリャ（スペイン）で開催された第5回中東研究世界大会（WOCMES Seville 2018）で二つのパネルを組織し、8名が研究発表を行った。（5）同会議発表者のうち4名が、サンチャゴ・デ・コンポステーラ巡礼について短期の現地調査を実施した。（6）連携研究者1名を現地調査のためクウェイトに派遣した。（7）聖者・聖遺物崇敬に関する文献収集と目録作成を進めた。（8）成果の社会還元として11月10日に上智大学で公開シンポジウム「中東に生きる宗教的少数派の人々：その暮らしと祭り」を開催した。（9）CNRS-GSRLの研究者の他、国外の関連分野の研究者との研究交流を行い、来日した研究者の講演会を開催した。（10）概説書『スーフィズムを学ぶ人のために』の執筆を進めた。
今後はキリスト教についてより多くの研究者の参加を促し、対象地域を拡大するとともに、事例研究の蓄積にさらに努める。
