Outline of Annual Research Achievements

本研究は20代の女性を対象に自己採取HPV検査の有効性に関するエビデンスを確立し、低迷する子宮頸がん検診受診率を向上させる有効な手段として自己採取HPV検査を提案する、ひいては若年女性の為の新たな子宮頸がん検診システムを構築して子宮頸がん撲滅への道筋を明確にすることを目的とする。

今年度は二つの比較試験を検討することになった。第一試験は20代の女性200名を対象に自己採取ブラシュであるHer Swab (Eve Medical)や臨床場でよく使用する一般的なflocked swab（Copan）の受け入れを検討するうえで、CopanのUriswabを加え、HPV感染の検出力を比較し、HPVワクチンの効果も検討することになった。HPVテストはGenotypingが可能となるSeegeneである。第二試験は20代の女性250名を対象に自己採取ブラシュであるEvalyn Brush (Rover)や臨床場でよく使用する一般的なflocked swab（Copan）の受け入れを検討するうえで、CopanのUriswabを加え、HPV感染の検出力を比較し、HPVワクチンの効果も検討することになった。HPVテストはHPV16型、18型の型別判定できるCobas (Roche)である。

さらにスコットランドの検診受診率を向上する為、去年の夏スコットランド政府やJo’s Cervical Cancer Trustが実施したBe Cervix Savvy Campaignを参考のため参加した。
