I conducted a survey, collection, and input of the document management regulations of local government agencies (including colonies and foreign government agencies) in modern Japan. The results obtained (the number of entered document regulations) are as follows. Academic Significance and Societal Importance of the Research Achievements |
本研究の目的は、近代日本の地方行政機関(植民地・外政機関を含む)が執り行ってきた公文書の管理、すなわち公文書の処理、施行、保存という文書行政の3過程について定めた法令・規程類を、網羅的に収集・分析することだった。 近代日本の地方行政機関では、規程に基づいて適切に公文書を保存・管理してきた。こうした実態を規程レベルで明らかにすることにより、歴史研究で公文書を使用する際の、根拠(文書の来歴や伝来)を得ることが可能となった。さらには、日本近代史研究における文書学的な視点から意思決定過程(政治過程)の解明を精緻化し、深めていくための視座を提供する基礎を整えることができた。
