Outline of Final Research Achievements

As basic research to development muscular strength support underwear for pregnant and postpartum women with adjusting attitude and pelvis correction function, we revealed to targeting non-birth healthy women with prototype hardware, for two weeks of wear feeling and the effect on the bodies.
As a result, body shape such as body weight and waist, chest and buttock circumference did not change, the heat retention property increased at end wearing. Besides, a decrease of the nuchal stiffness, lower back pain and improvement blood flow at the nuchal, shoulder, lumbar region were observed. On the other hand, wearing stability feeling declined, there was appeal such as rising loosened belt part during body movement.
The result can become the materials for consideration as improvement QOL of women who are sensitive to physical change and can easily recognize shoulder stiffness or lower back pain, and adjusting attitude tool to wear continuously before and after childbirth.
