Outline of Final Research Achievements |
The purpose of this study is to make clear that sound resonance on respiratory tract may act assistive for expectorant. The 3D training model of bronchoscope and laser doppler vibrometer were used for the experiment. Sound resonance phenomena were observed on all of the respiratory tract. Resonance frequency was different at each point and changed low to high from proximal to distal. This shows possibility to develop expectorant assistive system induced by sound resonance.
