This project aimed to conduct gender studies of political process, especially focusing on comparative and international studies of engendered war and democracy, referring to five keywords, i.e., gender, politics, war, democracy and comparative studies from international perspective. We shared the academic field of international politics, international relations and comparative politics, and analyzed the contemporary and historical cases of the Asia-Pacific region. Our agendas were(1) to develop gender studies in the fields of international politics, international relations and comparative politics ; (2) to analyze war and democracy as engendered social phenomena ; and(3) to propose new concepts and analytical frameworks from our discipline to the field of gender studies.
