| Research Abstract |
This research is about the knowledge creating process in which firms synthesis various knowledge to develop new concepts for new products or services. Using archival and interview data, it researched the process in which Japanese firms integrate knowledge dispersed their global R&D sites and external players such as customers, suppliers, and research institutes, and how they develop, maintain, and connect Bath promote the knowledge-creating mires& Nonaka and Toyama developed a theoretical framework to explain such a process and mechanism, as well as the case studies of about ten Japanese firms. The theoretical framework and case studies were published in Looks, both in Japanese and English. Inuzuka applied the concept of personal cognition process to an organization to research how organizations recognize different concepts in their R&D activities. The results were published in several journals.
