Research Abstract |
In this study, the production of the polymer porous medium by polymerization in supercritical carbon dioxide was investigated. 1.Control of 3-dimensional structure of the polymer porous medium The cross linked polymerization of styrene and acrylics nitril was performed in supercritical carbon dioxide, and the control method of the 3-dimensional structure of the polymer porous medium was investigated. Polymerization was performed on various conditions of pressure, temperature and concentration. The relation between the polymerization conditions and the diameter of the porous medium, the diameter of a primary particle, specific surface area and the diameter distribution of fine pores was shown. 2.Mechanism of the polymer porous medium production It is guessed that the solubility of the polymer in polymerizing field influences on the mechanism of polymer porous medium production. The procedure which produces a styrene porous medium was established. The influence of the impeller rotations number on the rate of polymerization and structure was shown. 4.Molding to polymer porous medium of the polymer particles and surface treatment, washing of the porous medium The method of molding polymer particles on the porous medium by treating with supercritical carbon dioxide was discussed. Furthermore, the surface treatment and washing of the polymer porous medium using supercritical carbon dioxide were studied. 5.Cultivation of human prostatic cancer cell using polymer porous medium The human prostatic cancer cell culture using the polystyrene and the poly acrylics nitrile porous medium as a culture support was performed.
