Research Abstract

モンゴル人は日本人に比べ平均寿命が男女とも15 年以上短い。その理由を知るためにモンゴル人の健康調査を行った。モンゴル人は食生活に偏りがあり、肉食が主で野菜や果物は少なく、酸化ストレスが高く、老化の訪れが早かった。彼らの短寿命を解決するにはこれらの改善が重要であり、日本人の老化を考える上でモンゴル人の食生活と高い酸化ストレス度は重要な警鐘と思われた。
