In order to further explicate the function of communication in the foundation of human nature such as faith and existence, I conducted researches by tracing the formation of Jaspers' thought of communication and by comparing him with other concerned thinkers. Consequently, I gained the following results. 1: I extracted and investigated the factors concerning communication in Jaspers' Psychology of World Views. rs' thought. The logic of species has characteristics such as absolute dialectic that grasps the reality moving through negation and opposition, the logic of copula that mediates the subject and predicate with nothingness, and the logic of freedom of self-existence. Although there are differences in emphasis, these specialties can also be found in Jaspers. This investigation indicates a viewpoint for the explication of the function of communication that differs from the logic of identity. 3 : I comprehended the logicofTecies in Tanabe Hajimeas nonobjective thinking, which surpasses the logic of identity, and compared it with Jaspers' thought.
