Research Abstract |
The purpose of this research is to make a list of printed matters within a period of Chinese Cultural Revolution. The list is of help clearing actual conditions of the printing activity at that time. I have already made list of Red Guard newspapers and magazines in letterpress printings on March 2005. In this research, I decide to classify Red Guard materials again, that are collected by me, because those are too much to be classified using my previous classification table. So, firstly I grasped all my collections and next made a new classification table. It is made according to structure of headway in Cultural Revolution, that is, importance of materials, and according to convenience on classifying materials, that is, printing methods and printing forms. It has nine large classifications. There are (1)lectures by Mao Zedong and Lin Biao, (2)lectures by head leaders of the central government and leaders of local governments, (3)Chinese Communist Party documents and local revolution committee documents, (4)newspapers in letterpress and inner newspapers in mimeographing, (5)magazines, (6)booklets, (7)leaflets and bills, (8)bind copies, (9)transcriptions etc. These classifications have subcategories as in letterpress and in mimeographing, as page making types. Then, I listed 1401 title booklets. This list is named " Red Guard printed matters, a part of having cover booklets".
