Research Abstract |
Based on the concept of Sato-Yama, I propose a new concept named Sato-Umi for coasutal sea management We define Sato-Umi as “high productivity and biodiversity in the coastal sea with human interaction" (Yanagi, T, Set Inland Sea, Environmental Conservation Association of the Seth Inland Sea, 2005) I define Sato-Umi as “The sea of the culture variety that was made because culture compounded highly" □ The fishermen did fishery and paste culture using the resources of the abundant sea. □ The farmer used a large quantity of algae as manure of the farmland. □ I was various, and the people of the seaside associated with coastal waters by sea bathing or play. □ Sato-Umi was the compound culture that fishermen culture overlapped with farmer culture. The decrease of coastal waters by the development became the decrease of the fishery resource and reduced a relation with the life culture。 Sato-Umi is keyword to build new relations while learning from the past history of a person and coastal waters.
