Research Abstract |
This research is development of milling system for deformable objects by negotiation in virtual space. This system is composed by five subsystems. First is subsystem for instrument and recognition of visual information. Second is subsystem for generation of virtual space. Third is subsystem of database of technical information and skill. Fourth is subsystem for generation of programs that controls hardware. Last is subsystem for negotiation of the information. Cameras take pictures of the milling situation and deformable objects. Profitable information for the situation is picked up by subsystem for instrument and recognition of visual information. Situation in virtual space is generated too in the subsystem for generation of virtual space. Difference of the milling situation is negotiated in the subsystem for negotiation of the information. Optimized technical information and skill for milling are picked up by subsystem for negotiation of the information from the database. Next optimized control information is generated by the subsystem for negotiation of the information. In addition, programs that control hardware are generated by the subsystem for generation of programs, and the generated programs are registered to the database. We realized a intelligent, accurate and low cost milling system by the concept.
