"Oil Prices and the U.S. Economy: Evidence from the Stock Market" appeared in the Journal of Macroeconomics. "East Asian Value Chains, Exchange Rates, and Regional Exchange Rate Arrangements" appeared in the Journal of Asian Economics. "Why Japan Lost its Comparative Advantage in Producing Electronic Parts and Components" appeared in the Journal of the Japanese and International Economies. Export Sophistication and Trade Elasticities appeared in the Journal of Asian Integration. I have also written five chapters of a book on the East Asian Electronics Industry that is submitted to a publisher. In addition, I gave several presentations including at Harvard University.
