Outline of Annual Research Achievements

本研究において実施した主要な研究内容の概要は以下の通りである。
(1)Charge-Parity(CP)対称性非保存現象を探索するための電子EDM計算:CP対称性が破れている現象として、電子の電気双極子モーメント(電子EDM)deの存在が予言されている。本プロジェクトではdeに関連する分子物性である分子内の有効内部電場を相対論的量子化学計算で求め、有効内部電場が増強されるメカニズムを解析した。更にQED効果を考慮する計算方法を開発し、有効内部電場に適用したところが有効内部電場が数パーセント程度変化することを示した。
(2)核の電気双極子に関する電子状態項:原子核EDMの主要な要因の一つである核のシッフモーメント(NSM)に対する電子状態項について取り扱った。NSMは、CP対称性を破る相互作用により、原子核内の電荷分布が球対称からずれることで生じる。従来の電子状態項では、核上の電子密度の微分値(X)という近似表現が用いられてきた。本研究では、Gauss型基底による電子状態項の厳密表現を用いて、従来表現が不十分であることを示した。具体的には、実験が行われているTlFに加え、HgF+, HgO, RaF+, RaO分子についてDirac-Fock法を用いて電子状態項の計算を行った。その結果を使って、厳密表現と従来の表現であるX*r^2、およびマクローリン展開による高次項を比較した。
(3)自然摂動軌道(NPO)の開発:分子物性の解析に適するNPO法を開発した。NPOは外場に対して1次の占有軌道を0次の仮想軌道で展開したときの展開係数行列を特異値分解するような軌道のユニタリ変換によって定義した。「表面増強ラマン散乱(SERS) の汎関数依存性」、「置換ベンゼンの13C-NMR化学シフト」、「Pdナノ粒子に吸着したCOの赤外吸収強度」の3つ系に適用した。
