Outline of Annual Research Achievements

【炭素-水素結合活性化】今まで使われたことのないアシルイミダゾールを配向基とする炭素-水素結合活性化に取り組んだ。イリジウムが触媒として高い活性を有することがわかった。アルキニル化反応は、芳香族アミド類のオルト位の炭素-水素結合だけでなく、脂肪族アミド類にも適用可能で、予想通りβ位で選択的にアルキニル化が起こった。DFT計算によるとシリル基と臭素の両方が転位する今までにない全く新しい反応機構を経て反応が進行していることがわかった。また、ジオキサゾロンを用いてアミド化を検討したところ、芳香族アミド類では、予想通りオルト位でアミド化が進行した。しかし、脂肪族アミド類を基質にすると、アルキニル化と同様にβ位で反応すると予想していたが、驚いたことにα位でアミド化が選択的に進行することがわかった。β位では全く反応しない。また、2,2,2-トリクロロエトキシカルボニルアジドをアミド化剤として用いるとオルト位でアミド化が室温で進行することも見いだした。ピリミジンを配向基とするアニリン誘導体とビニルシランとの反応をイリジウム触媒存在下行うと酸化的アルケニル化が分枝選択的に進行する珍しい例を見いだした。ロジウム触媒で、アリルアルコールと反応させると酸化的アルキル化が進行し、ケトンが生成することも見いだした。
【炭素-フッ素結合活性化】ニッケル触媒存在下、オルト位のフッ素基のみが水素化ホウ素ナトリウムで水素に置き換わることを見いだした。さらに、炭素-フッ素結合と炭素-塩素結合の還元的クロス求電子反応の初めての例を見いだすことができた。今までは、芳香族アミドを基質に用いてきたが、芳香族カルボン酸にも適用できることがわかった。ただ、反応性が低いためマイクロ波を照射する必要がある。
【炭素-炭素結合活性化】炭素-水素結合と炭素-炭素結合の両方を含む3-アリールシクロブタノンの異性化反応の開発に成功した。
