Outline of Annual Research Achievements

交付申請書に記したように、令和3年度は以下の3つの課題について研究を実施した。
(1)新規遷移金属錯体触媒と酸化剤の協働機能による芳香族化合物の酸化カップリング:ロジウムあるいはパラジウム錯体触媒と、銅塩または銀塩酸化剤を組み合わせた触媒系を用いたヘテロ芳香族化合物のアルケニル化反応を検討した。ロジウム触媒を用いる反応では、触媒配位子のかさ高さを制御することで、ベンゼン環上での反応が効率よく進行することを見出した。また、パラジウム触媒を用いる反応では、ベンゾホスホール誘導体のホスホール部位での新規カップリング反応を開発した。一方で、芳香族化合物のハロゲン化に対する、かさ高い新規スルフィド触媒を発見した。
(2)直接クロスカップリングによる高度縮環(ヘテロ)芳香族化合物の合成と機能創出:これまでに開発したパラジウム触媒を用いる脱ハロゲン化水素および脱水素型閉環反応を用い、ビスベンゾフロピラジンおよびジベンゾジチオフェン誘導体の合成を達成した。これらの5環式化合物は、興味深い発光特性を示し、前者では有機低分子結晶マトリックス中に、後者は高分子フィルム中に分散させると顕著な室温燐光発光が観測されることを見出した。また、ベンゾホスホールのアリール化反応で得たホスホール誘導体では、アリール基の種類によって容易に蛍光発光波長を制御できることを明らかにした。
(3)錯体化学的アプローチに基づく炭素ー水素結合活性化のメカニズム解明:新規に開発した、ロジウム触媒を用いる安息香酸アミドへの酸化的直接セレン導入反応による生理活性エブセレンの誘導体生成の反応経路の詳細を計算化学援用して提案した。ここでは、ロダサイクル錯体中間体と系中発生したセレン4価種の反応段階が鍵段階である。一方で、銅塩を用いるフェノール誘導体とオキサゾール類の脱水素カップリングにおける二座型含窒素配向基効果の重要性を明らかにした。
