土着の伝統の再構築と愛国意識の関連性を分析するにあたり、古期アイルランド語の伝説「スウィーニーの狂気」の翻案作品を網羅的に視野に入れ、これらの読解を進めてきた。オンライン学会（IASIL Conference 2021）での口頭発表 “‘The black earth my earth-bed’: Sweeney, Basho, and Others in Derek Mahon’s The Snow Party” に基づき論文を執筆した。Brian Frielの劇 Molly Sweeneyにおけるスウィーニー伝説を分析し、論文 Sweeney Resisting Authority: Brian Friel’s Molly Sweeney as a Self-reflective Revision of Buile Suibhneを執筆した。キーワードはAuthority, The Field Day Company、Seamus Heaney’s Sweeney Astray.
土着の伝統の再構築と愛国意識の関連性を分析するにあたり、古期アイルランド語の伝説「スウィーニーの狂気」の翻案作品を網羅的に視野に入れて分析を進め、すべての成果を著書として準備してきた。本の最終章としてThe Death of Sweeney: Nuala Ni Dhomhnaill’s ‘Muirghil Castigates Sweeney’ を執筆した。英語による著書の構成を検討しなおし、タイトルを決め、目次に修正を加えて完成した。タイトルはSweeney’s Revival（邦題『スウィーニーの再生』）、副題は Translating Liminality。IntroductionのMad Sweeney: Anti-Hero from ancient Ireland とPreface の完成のために推敲を進めた。
