Outline of Final Research Achievements |
Practices such as youth participatory evaluation in ACT for Youth, Dialogue practices in Finland, and participatory evaluation in family associations provided many insights into the effectiveness of participatory evaluation approaches in supporting youth. We were able to understand the importance of an attitude in which adults do not try to understand young people, but rather trust young people and position them as the main actors in the evaluation. In addition, dialogue, which is the basis of participatory evaluation, is based on mutual respect for each other's voice, and the key is how to set up a place where they feel safe. In the future, we would like to implement measures to enable young people to proactively participate in the evaluation process, and analyze the changes that occur as a result of their participation in the evaluation process to verify its effectiveness.

Academic Significance and Societal Importance of the Research Achievements |
若者が抱える課題として不登校、ひきこもり、対人関係などがあり、様々な支援プログラムが存在する。支援アプローチの多くは若者の主体性を推進しているが、どのように主体性を尊重するのかという具体的プロセスを明示しているものは十分ではない。 参加型評価は問題についてのアセスメントから実施計画と分析評価までのプロセスに当事者が参加するというものである。対話をベースとした参加型評価アプローチに基づく若者支援が実施されることにより、日本社会が抱えている引きこもり問題等の解決に役立つことが期待される。
