Outline of Annual Research Achievements |
A book chapter I wrote last year, "Nuclear War", was published by Elsevier Academic Press in the Encyclopedia of Violence, Peace, & Conflict, second edition. It is a major contribution to try solving the problem of violence and scholars for all over the world were invited to participate. For the occasion of the book launch, a peace symposium was organized. In addition to this, I was also invited to write an article on Maohi literature of the atomic age for the Australian Journal of French Studies (Liverpool University Press). The publication will be for 2024, and I will need to purchase books of contemporary Maohi and Polynesian literature.

Current Status of Research Progress |
Current Status of Research Progress
3: Progress in research has been slightly delayed.
Reason
For the same reason that last year, the conference I wanted to organized has not taken place since Covid-19 still affects our lives in so many ways. The situation is the same concerning my trip to the Marie Curie Museum in Paris.
|
Strategy for Future Research Activity |
Due to the continuation of the Covid crisis, I will organize a conference or some talks on zoom instead of in-person.
The measures taken by France regarding travels in and out of the country have eased, so I will try to reach the Marie Curie Museum this year if ever possible.
|
Causes of Carryover |
This fiscal year, I hope to organize a conference or artist talks on the topic of the nuclear age via zoom. I also hope to travel to the Marie Curie Museum in Paris.
