| Outline of Annual Research Achievements |
For FY2019 I have completed the design and execution of the social networks and travel behavior web-survey in the Greater Tokyo Area. The results of this survey will be used in part to define some of the basic parameters of the activity pattern simulator, in particular those relevant to social networks and social interactions.
In addition progress is being made in the design of the activity pattern simulator, as as well as the writing of the basic program.

4: Progress in research has been delayed.
Reason
The survey design, system construction and testing of the social networks and travel behavior web-survey took longer than originally expected, which resulted in an overall delay of the project.

| Strategy for Future Research Activity |
For FY2018 the main targets are:
1) To analyze the data gathered in the social networks and travel behavior web-survey.
2) To finalize the basic architecture of the activity pattern simulator.
3) To conduct the person probe social social interaction and travel behavior survey.

| Causes of Carryover |
Due to the delay in the research plan, the probe-person survey of social interactions and travel behavior was moved to the next fiscal year.
