Research Abstract

研究代表者が提案する衝撃点火方式は、核融合の実現に向けて、大幅な小規模化を実現可能とする。小規模ながら、中心点火方式と同様、現象の予測性の高さが特徴である。本研究の目的は、衝撃点火方式による核融合が可能であるか否かを判断するために、物理的・工学的理解を得ることと、衝撃点火レ-ザ-核融合の概念を実証することである。
