Research Abstract

1.研究分担者会議の開催:2007年7月、12月、および2008年2月に東京外国語大学アジア・アフリカ言語文化研究所において研究分担者会議を開催した。
2.海外学術調査総括班フォーラムの開催:2007年6月23日に今年度の科学研究費補助金基盤研究(海外学術調査)研究組織の研究代表者等、約100名の参加を得て、東京外国語大学アジア・アフリカ言語文化研究所において海外学術調査総括班フォーラムを行った。午前は、連続ワークショップ『フィールドサイエンスと超域的ネットワーク』の第3回「海外学術調査データベース」をテーマに講演を行った。午後の全体会では日本学術振興会による科学研究費補助金の執行に関する説明と質疑応答を行い、続く地域分科会では、1.大陸部東南アジア、2.島嶼部東南アジア・太平洋、
3.東アジア、4.南・西アジア・北アフリカ、5.北ユーラシア・中央アジア・極地(含むヨーロッパ)、6.サハラ以南アフリカ、7.アメリカ大陸の各地域に分かれ、調査研究上の諸問題について、意見・情報の交換を行った。
3.海外調査:ネパールにおいて新政府下におけるネパール山岳地域の学術調査研究の可能性に関する予備調査をし、ネパールヒマラヤにおける近年の温暖化と気象災害に関する調査および今後の共同研究打ち合わせをした。ネパール側のカウンターパート(ネパール気象局長官、ネパール国立アカデミー会員)の協力を得て、ネパールヒマラヤにおける近年の温暖化と気象災害に関する国際ワークショップを開催した。
4.データベースの整備および広報:海外学術調査研究者名簿をデータベース化し、主としてデータの関連付けに関するデータ整備をした。また同データベースを海外学術調査総括班フォーラム時に紹介した。
5.ホームページの整備:ホームページをリニューアルし、海外学術調査に関係する研究者にむけて情報提供をした。
