Research Abstract

本研究課題では、27'x34'という8m級望遠鏡では他に例を見ないすばる望遠鏡の主焦点全面を、波長4000-7000Åにおいて、分解能λ/Δλ=30-50で観測できるグリズム分光装置を開発し、これまで広帯域及び狭帯域フィルターを用いて深い撮像観測が行われているSubaru Deep Field(SDF)、Subaru/XMM-Newton Field (SXDF)、及びCOSMOS Fieldを中心にスリットレス分光観測を行い、各領域数万個と予想される輝線銀河を検出し、その輝線から赤方偏移をΔz~0.01の精度で測定する。このデータをもとに、赤方偏移z~2.5-5に渡ってΔz~0.1のbinごとに輝線銀河のクラスタリングを定量化し、バイアスパラメータを空間スケールと時間(赤方偏移)の関数として導き出す。
