Research Abstract

先端デバイスは基板に実装された状態ではcm オ-ダ-、またデバイスそれ自体はmmオ-ダ-の寸法であるが、μm オ-ダ-あるいはサブミクロンオ-ダ-の内部構造を有している。また、単結晶材料においてはマクロな割れだけでなく転位といった原子スケ-ルの欠陥が材料の性質に影響を与える。このようなことを考慮して、本研究の研究目的は下記の三つとする。
(1) 強度信頼性評価には有限要素法のような連続体力学手法だけでなく分子動力学法のような分子・原子スケ-ルの強度評価も必要となる。本研究ではマクロスケ-ルからミクロスケ-ル以下の微小領域の強度信頼性評価に適用できる解析システムを構築すること。
(2) 解析結果の信頼性を担保するために、先端デバイスのようなサブミクロンオ-ダ-の内部構造におけるひずみ分布測定が可能な装置の開発を行うこと。
(3) 開発した解析システム、ひずみ測定装置を実際の電子デバイスの信頼性評価に適用してそれらの有効性を実証すること。
