| Research Abstract |
ショウジョウバェ複眼を用いて転写コリブレッサー複合体であるEbiがG1期制御にどのように働いているのかを検討した。その結果、G1期制御に重要な機能を持つ転写因子であるE2Fに対してEbiは(1)E2Fの転写、(2)E2F自身の転写活性、(3)E2Fの蛋白質安定性という3つの異なる機能を有していることが明らかになった。このように1つの分子がE2Fに対して多様に作用している例は報告が無く、G1期の制御における新規の調節メカニズムであると考えられる。
