Research Abstract

(1) 我々が世界に先駆けて開発した強力なHsp65 DNA+IL-12 DNA ワクチンの抗結核効果がいかなる機序により発揮されるかは不明である。我々はキラーT細胞分化因子の発見者であり、キラーT細胞より分泌される結核菌殺傷タンパクgranulysin の重要性を明らかにしてきた。したがって、これらのワクチンによるキラーT 細胞活性化機構を解明する。
(2) 一方、多剤耐性結核の高頻度発症が世界的な大問題の一つである。多剤耐性結核に対するこのワクチンによる治療効果の免疫学的な機構を解明する。特にキラーT 細胞分化誘導による治療機構を解析する。
(3) 新しい結核ワクチンを用いた結核に対する治療効果の解明と免疫機構解明において治療効果をマウス、カニクイザル、及びSCID-PBL/hu の系で行う。
