| Research Abstract |
本研究課題は、熱帯サンゴ礁に棲息する海洋生物の生理・生態と化学成分について調査することが目的である.これまでの研究により、海綿から、細胞増殖阻害活性を示す新規化合物、がん抑制遺伝子産物p53 の作用を増強することが期待される化合物、および、プロテアソームの作用を阻害する化合物などを発見することができた.今後、さらに生物活性物質の探索を続ける予定である.
